Mission Statement

The Klamath County Historical Society was created and incorporated on May 28, 1946.

Its primary objectives were to establish a county museum to preserve, protect, and exhibit artifacts and records pertaining to the history of the region; and to educate the public about our history through tours lectures, and articles.

The Klamath County Historical Society now works closely with the Klamath County Museum in promoting public awareness and educating our school children of the importance of preserving and understanding our history.
